About the wnzs

The wnzs – Central Switzerland Business Network was known as XING Central Switzerland until 2019. It is legally organized as an association of board members. Members of the "wnzs community" (all individuals not on the board) are not members of the association and therefore have neither rights nor obligations.

Membership in the wnzs community is free. Tickets for the various events must be purchased online in advance. The entrance fee, typically CHF 20 to 30, covers the costs of company tours, presentations, and the subsequent reception. Any additional costs are factored into the entrance fee; each event is intended to be self-sustaining.

Important information about our events:

 

• Our focus is on the people involved and their relationships. Potential business opportunities arise from this. We do not engage in aggressive marketing, flyer distribution, etc.

• At our events, we address each other informally. This fosters more personal interactions and opens doors.

 

• We are liberal, non-denominational, non-partisan, and intercultural. For these reasons, we are not a platform for, for example, party politics, evangelism, cult work, or esotericism. In the case of justified complaints of any kind or serious misconduct, there will be a one-time warning, followed by exclusion from the community; this is without the possibility of appeal.

 

• All board members work on a voluntary basis. Participation fees for events are used solely to cover costs and expenses.

• Participation in an event is only possible after prior registration by purchasing a ticket (Event-Frog). Spontaneous participation is only possible in pre-arranged exceptional cases at the door. The participation fee will be increased by CHF 10 in such cases (control measure).

• We ask that you avoid short-notice cancellations or "no-shows." Our events only work well if we can count on firm commitments. Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded. However, transferring them is permitted. If an event is canceled, the costs will be refunded.

​

• Name badges are issued primarily at our regular meetings, but only for participants who have registered no later than two days before the event.

​

• The events are organized by our event coordinators (board members). They are also the main points of contact. Liability for any negligence on the part of the event coordinators is assumed by the wnzs – Wirtschaftsnetz Zentralschweiz (Central Switzerland Business Network) association.
